Alexander Shaw, Jr. passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025 at the age of 84. Born in Baltimore and raised in Harford County, Mr. Shaw, or Al as he was known by his friends, attended Saint James School in Hagerstown followed by Randolph Macon College in Virginia. He lived and worked in Frederick for more than 5 decades. During his life, Al was an avid golfer and tennis player, and loved sports in general. He was a car, boat, and airplane enthusiast. He lived life to the fullest and will be deeply missed. Al is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Mary Ann, daughter, Stephanie (David Cibley), son, Alexander III, and daughter, Jennifer (David Fidler). The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the Silverado Frederick Memory Care Community for their compassion and support.
