David Ray Hardy, 75 of Villa Rica, passed away, Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born in Rockmart, GA the son of the late Marvin Eugene Hardy and the late Barbara Ann MacDonald Hardy. Ray was a United States Veteran having served in Army where he was stationed in Germany. He was a Supervisor at Vicking Manufacturing before he became disabled. He was a Baptist by Faith and loved babysitting his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He enjoyed watching, Football, Baseball and Wrestling. He also enjoyed playing UNO and Karaoke.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Kaye Mclendon Hardy of Villa Rica, 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Kimberly Hardy and Michael Brandon Green of Whitesburg and Julia Ann Hardy and Jason Gunter of Villa Rica, 9 grandchildren: Jessica Renee and Cody Hawkins, William Blake and Kail Hardy, Laken Elaine Wilkes, Michael Brandon Green, Jr. Matthew Christopher and Emily Green, Brandon Ray and Dianna Vance, Taylor Elizabeth and Casey Enoch, Reagan Olivia Gunter and Addison Kendall Gunter 10 Great Grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 5, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be conducted Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. The American Legion Post #143 Honor Guard will fold and present the Flag.
