Ray Rabalais Obituary
Memorial services for Calvin “Ray” Rabalais of Simmesport will begin at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Escude’ Funeral Home of Simmesport with Pastor Daniel Lankford officiating.
Ray Rabalais, age 62, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville.
Ray retired from Angola after 20 years of service. He was also a Commercial fisherman and owner-operator of Rabalais Seafood Restaurant in Simmesport.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Debbie Wages Rabalais; children, Joshua Wages, Eden Rabalais, and Calvin Clay Rabalais; father, Calvin Joseph Rabalais; grandchildren: Ava, Starly, Lettie, Paris, Ivy, Calvin, Roxeigh, and Remmeigh.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Merion Bordelon Rabalais; and his siblings Cynthia Feduccia and Liz Lemoine.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 beginning at 5:00 PM and will close after the service which begins at 7:00 PM.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home (318-964-2324) 625 Main Street, Simmesport, LA 71369.
