Ray Kenneth Rampley, age 62, of Armuchee, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Ray was born on September 22, 1962, in Martin Army Hospital in Columbus, GA. He was the son of the late Paul Wesley Rampley and Juanita Atchley Rampley, also of Armuchee. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by, brother Rex L. Rampley.
Ray was a graduate of Armuchee High School. He loved people and helping those in need. He was his brother Rex's care giver in his illness before his passing.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Atchley Rampley; brother, Rick Rampley (Tracy), of Lindale; his niece, Meagan Audas (Chris) of Mount Washington, KY; nephew, Wes Rampley (Brittany) of Rome, GA; great nieces, Marlow Rampley and Ember Rampley, of Rome, GA; great nephew, AJ Audas, of Mount Washington, KY: aunt, Libby Gilreath; uncle, Dewey Atchley, of Rome, GA; cousins, friends, and special friends, Judy and Dawn.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Tapestry Hospice and AdventHealth Redmond Hospital of Rome.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. Interment will take place in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens at a later date.
