A Memorial Gathering of Remembrance for Mr. Ray Stephenson, 85, of Delhi, LA, will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday, December 2, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro.

Ray was born May 10, 1938 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 21, 2023. He loved spending time with family and friends. Ray retired from Century Telephone Company after 25 years serving the Baskin, Mangham, Alto and Archibald communities. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Annie Pearl Stephenson; parents, Richard and Hazel Searcy Stephenson; four sisters, Shirley Dickerson, Alice Cunningham, Judy Kelly and Marion Stephenson; and three brothers, Leon Stephenson, Russell Stephenson, and Mike Stephenson.

Survivors include three children, Barbara Martin and husband Kenneth, Patricia Stephenson, and Kenneth Stephenson and wife Teresa; nine grandchildren, Angel Crawford and husband Bryan, Greg Stephenson and wife Nicky, JR Stephenson and wife Mary, Jamie Norwood and wife Shannon, Kim Boyte and husband Matt, Eric Stephenson and wife Anna, Danyale Rushing and husband Alan, Bryan Thames and wife Haylie, and Haillie Johnson and husband Weston; as well as numerous great grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren; five sisters, Flora Bunch, Modena Gray, Bessie Flint, Linda Allen and Donice Cotton and husband David; brother, Billy Joe Stephenson and wife Sharon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Plantation Manor Nursing Home.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
