Obituary Raylene Kimber
Raylene Kimber, 69, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at her home in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Raylene was born February 8, 1956 to Shirley Ann Winder and Adrian Darrell Blau in Logan, Utah.
Raylene grew up in the Cache Valley area where she received her education. She graduated from Sky View High School, then continued her education at Utah State University. She lived in several places throughout her lifetime, including Paradise, Richmond, Smithfield UT, Mountain Home ID, Marana AZ and finally Blackfoot ID.
On January 18, 1980, she married Larry Wendell Kimber in the Logan LDS temple.
Raylene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Primary, Relief Society and played the organ and piano. She also served in the Bishop's Storehouse.
She loved being a homemaker and also worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time crocheting, puzzles, and being with her family.
Raylene will be missed by her husband of over 45 years, Larry Kimber; children JanaLeigh (Bowen) Jolley, Larry (Beth) Kimber Jr., Alan (Brandy) Kimber, Larene Kimber, Timothy (Alissa) Kimber and Laralee Kimber; her mother, Shirley Blau; siblings Kevin Blau, Merlynn Gailey, Sharon Robinette, Marianne Gailey, Mark Blau, Kerry Blau and Angelena Goodpasture; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Adrian Blau; and siblings Janalee Blau and Myron Blau; and grandparents George Blau, Leeta Richardson, Daniel Winder and Margaret Jardine.
Raylene will be remembered for her spirit, her laughter, and her ability to make everyone she meets feel loved. Raylene spent a lifetime serving others and being an example of Christlike love. She would always lift those around her. Her last words spoken in this life were used to comfort and uplift those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We would like to thank the OneSource Hospice Team for their care, love, and support shown to Raylene during this time. Their love of their job and those in their care truly made all the difference to each of us. Raylene loved and developed close and personal friendships with each of these amazing individuals. Our love and deep appreciation goes out to each of them.
