Raymond John Babbitt (1989- 2025)

Raymond John Babbitt, 36, of Macomb County, Michigan, died September 15, 2025.

Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, on May 24th, 1989, to the late Laura Romas and Joseph Babbitt, Raymond grew up in Bad Axe and Clinton Twp and attended Clintondale Community Schools. He later worked at Dockside Canvas Co.

Above all else, Raymond was a devoted and loving father to Charlotte, Jameson, and Juliette who dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted to them. His children were truly the light of his life and his greatest source of pride and joy. Raymonds' devotion extended beyond his role as a father. He was a loyal brother, cherished friend, and beloved family member whose kindness and humor touched the lives of everyone around him.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Laura and Joseph. He is survived by his brothers Jason, Joseph, Corey, and Andrew; his aunt Mary; the mother of his children, Taylor; his three beloved children; and a large circle of extended family and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27th, at Copper Creek Manor in Chesterfield Township, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. All who loved Raymond are welcome to join his family in honoring his life and memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations to assist with final arrangements and to support his children are deeply appreciated.

If you or someone you love is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Taking the first step toward help can make all the difference. Raymond's family shares this in his honor, with the hope that no one else will have to endure the same struggles he faced.
