Mr. Raymond "Glen" Coon, 59, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
The family will greet friends from 2 until 4 pm Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Lighthouse Church, Clearwater, South Carolina.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 22 years, Deborah Coon. He was a cherished father figure to Deborah's children, Richard "Scottie" Hawes and Jamie Hawes. Raymond's siblings, David Coon (Elaine), Dwayne Foxx (Tammy), and Rita Coon Walta (Rick), will forever hold him in their hearts.
Preceding him in death are his loving parents, Hazel and Lester Coon, and his brother, Lyman Foxx.
Raymond was a graduate of Midland Valley High School. He dedicated nearly two decades of his adult life to working at the Greg Dye Plant, until the devastating Graniteville Train Wreck in 2005.
Raymond was a passionate Carolina Gamecock football fan, had a love for all kinds of music, and also loved his cats. A true family man, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing and spending time with loved ones. Known for his kind and caring nature, Raymond was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
