Raymond F. Duncan, age 76, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
Raymond was born in Hoisington, KS, son of the late Helen (Viano) and Richard F. Duncan. Raymond was proud of his family roots and his Native American heritage. Raymond graduated from Kennett Square high school and went on to become a Truck Driver for 25 years and retired from P.E. Kramme Trucking. Over his career, Raymond logged over 2 million miles driven. In his free time, Raymond loved working on his truck, tinkering in his work shed, and rooting on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Colleen Kay Duncan; daughters, C. Heather Watson (Eric) and Siobain Malandruccolo; son, Scott Duncan (Andrea Valentine); grandchildren, Haleigh Ice, CPL. Ryan Ice, Connor Watson, Chris Valentine, Mike Valentine, Logan Malandruccolo (Emily), Garret Malandruccolo, and Josh Diggins; one great grandchild on the way; and numerous nephews and close family friends whom he all loved.
A visitation for Raymond will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 10-11am, with a memorial service following at 11am. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Raymonds name to the Food Bank of Delaware, 222 Lake Dr, Newark, DE 19702.
