Mr. Raymond Michael Grady Jr.

Mr. Raymond M. Grady, age 82, of Savannah, died on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. He was born on February 25, 1943 to the late Raymond Michael Grady and the late Virginia Galvin Grady in Lowell, Massachusetts. Raymond was a native and lived most of his life in Lowell, before moving to the Savannah area in 2006. He was a graduate of Lowell High School and was a United States Navy veteran. He worked as an inspector with M.B.T.A, and in his spare time enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Raymond loved music and played the guitar, his brother played the drums and they would have jam sessions together. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Grady and a sister, Lynne Grady.

His family includes his wife of twenty-one years, Berkeley Grady; children, Michelle Grady, Ian Grady, and Ashlyn Grady; step-children, Maia Sousa, Parrish Olsen, and Orla Olsen; brother, Douglas Grady; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Family will hold a private service at a later date.
