Raymond H. Ketcham,94, of the Aberdeen/Matawan area passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Care One at Holmdel. Ray was born on April 15, 1931, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After living in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Ray lived in Plainfield, New Jersey and Cliffwood, New Jersey. Along with his family, they moved to Marlboro, New Jersey in 1960 and in 1995 to the Aberdeen/Matawan area. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, spending time in Germany. Ray retired at the age of 55 after working many devoted years as a technician at Bell Labs, Holmdel.

Ray is predeceased by his beloved parents, Homer and Helen (Hebbe) Ketcham. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Ann Marie (nee Catalano) Ketcham, his caring sons, Robert and Debora Ketcham of Hazlet, New Jersey, Edward and Fern Ketcham of Marlboro, Guy and Debbie Ketcham of LasVegas, Nevada, his fond brother, Donald Ketcham of New Port Richey, Florida, his cherished grandchildren, Justin Ketcham, Christopher Ketcham, David Ketcham, Andrew Ketcham, Michelle Graham, Thomas Ketcham, Samuel Ketcham, Christina Byrnes, Anna Ketcham and Jospeh Ketcham, as well as 9 adoring great grandchildren and a niece who resides in Florida. Ray was a dedicated son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. He will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten.

Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730 was entrusted with arrangements. At the families request funeral services are private. Raymond will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Keyport, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Ray to Popcorn Park Animal Refuge at Https://ahscares.org/other-ways-to-donate-2/ would be greatly appreciated.
