Ray worked in construction most of his life. He was also a handyman who could fix anything. He was an avid bowler who had 12 perfect games. He enjoyed camping in the mountains with family, hunting, fishing, and riding dirt bikes.
He was preceded in death by Della, his wife of 55 years, and son Johnny Ray. He was one of 11 Kobernick siblings with seven having passed.
He was survived a daughter Barbara (Chris) Pash of Farmington, NM and grandson Brett Pash; and granddaughter Savannah Kobernick of Rockford, Illinois. He is also survived by a 4 brothers, George, Edward, Virgil, and Forrest.
