Raymond Lewis Krieger, 91, of St. Joseph passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church St., Bridgman, MI 49106. Friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday from 9:30-11 AM, prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Ray was born on February 9, 1934 in Union Pier, Michigan the son of the late Paul and Lilly (Schmidt) Krieger. On July 14, 1955 he married the former Jacqueline Forraht and she preceded him in death on September 4, 2025. Ray was proud to serve his country in the US Army. He was a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bridgman. He retired from D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant after 29 years of service. Ray enjoyed gardening, golf and playing cards. He also enjoyed country music, camping and spending time with his family.

Survivors include two daughters: Candy (Bart) Berndt and Tammy (Robert) Kohtz; three grandchildren: Matthew (Kate) Kohtz, Ashley (Neil) Gutschmidt, and Meg (Vince) Rovedatti; and K9 companion, Princess.

Ray was also preceded in death by brothers: Arthur and Duwayne Krieger; and sister, Charlotte Wennerberg.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman.
