Ardis McFadden Obituary
Ardis M. McFadden, 97, of Bridgman, formerly of Three Oaks, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman.
A funeral service will be held 11 AM on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Pike Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, MI 49106 with Pastor Rich Zeiger officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks. Ardis was born on April 24, 1928 in Galesburg, Michigan the daughter of the late Robert and Hester (Aungst) Rasmussen. In 1948 she married Henry McFadden and he preceded her in death in 2013. Ardis attended Fellowship Bible Church and enjoyed working in AWANA. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and working alongside her husband on their small family farm. At Woodland Terrace she enjoyed crafts and playing Bingo.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Thomas) Washer; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Michael Lake.
Ardis was also preceded in death by her son, Richard McFadden; sister, Mary Krebs; and three brothers: LeRoy, Albert, and Dale Rasmussen.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman.
