Born in Providence, a son of the late Raymond W. and Helen ( Pechie ) Laboissonniere, Sr. He had lived in West Warwick for 17 years previously living in Smithfield. He was an Army National Guard veteran.
Raymond had been a welder with the Boiler Makers Union.
Ray liked fishing, playing drums, building model airplanes and his artwork.
He is survived by his children, Raymond Laboissonniere of Smithfield and Nicole Laboissonniere of Johnson City, TN and a stepdaughter, Tania Ripley and her husband Bryan of West Warwick. He was the grandfather of Alexis. Monique, Shawn, Shane and Drake. Great grandfather of David and Christopher
He was the brother of Dennis Laboissonniere of Chepachet and Karen Newman of Glocester.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm Friday June 6th in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Visitation Friday 12noon to 1pm. His burial will be private.

I miss you Ray. All the laughs we had and the things we did together when we were young. Over the last year we spent a great deal of time together talking and sharing experiences. I will always cherish those times. God bless. You are missed.
