Mr. Raymond E. Lemmonds, Jr., age 69 of 295 Montgomery Ave., Pacolet, SC husband of Sharon Foster Lemmonds, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Mr. Lemmonds was born on April 20, 1956, a son of the late Raymond Eugene Lemmonds, Sr. and Mary Emma Haile Lemmonds. He was a 1974 graduate of Pacolet High School and retired from Ticona Company in Shelby, NC. Mr. Lemmonds was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
Surviving in addition to his wife is three sons, Marty Lawter (Lynn) of Pacolet, Scottie Lemmonds (Angela) of Spartanburg and Andy Lemmonds (Chantal) of Pacolet; four step-sons, Paul Foster (Daisy), Joel Foster (Lydia), Wesley Foster (Elizabet) and Barry Foster (Marie); a sister, Rena Shehand (J.J) of Pacolet; grandchildren, Cheyanne Lawter, Tristian Lawter, Jacob Lemmonds, Josh Lemmonds, Jayden Lemmonds, Kaylee Lemmonds, Emerson Lemmonds and Alyssa Foster; nieces, Sonya Mode (Rick), Stacy Smith (Mark) and Tracy Taylor (Matt). Mr. Lemmonds was predeceased by a grandson, Tyler Lemmonds.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 13. 2025 at Holcombe Jonesville Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier. Burial will follow in Webber-Haile Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Warren Tollison, Benny Tollison, Mike Ingle, Hayden Bourgeois, Jerry Hagan, Perry Wycuff and Rick Moore.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the Holcombe Jonesville Chapel.
Memorial may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
The family would like to express a special "Thank you" to Spartanburg Regional Hospice.
