Raymond N. Magner, 93, of Ramsey, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025.
For those who knew him, Raymond's infectious laughter and good-natured pranks were a constant source of joy. With a rare gift for putting others at ease, he listened with an open heart and made everyone feel accepted. This love for humanity was a testament to his deep faith as a devoted Christian and a cherished member of his church community, particularly his men's Bible study group.
Above all, Raymond's greatest source of pride was his family. As a fantastic daddy and a devoted husband, his dedication ensured his loved ones always had the truly important things in life. His passions were a reflection of his soul-a blend of artistry and hard work. He found great joy in sketching, capturing moments for his family to treasure, and poured his talent for working with his hands into his love for old cars, especially his cherished El Camino. A true lover of the outdoors, he felt a special connection with the land he walked on and the nature that surrounded him.
A proud veteran of the Korean War, Raymond was a hard worker who was loyal to several companies throughout his career, often staying for a decade or more. His final job at Ramsey Popcorn was a treasured place of work, where he loved his colleagues and saw them not just as coworkers but as an extension of his own family. He possessed a natural leadership ability that others quickly recognized. Without ever seeking the spotlight, he was the person people trusted to lead the way, always stepping into the role with empathy and a knack for uniting individuals from all walks of life to tackle any challenge.
