Raymond Persia Obituary
Raymond was born November 22, 1961 to Raymond and Sonya (Schoolmeesters) Persia in Redford, MI. He grew up in Milford, graduating from Milford High School with the Class of 1980. Raymond attended Michigan State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Geology in 1985.
Raymond was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He started organic farming 13 years ago in Fenton on 150 acres. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed mountain biking, sailing, and hunting. Raymond was a talented downhill skier that enjoyed many winter days across Michigan's ski resorts and also out west.
Raymond is survived by his parents; Raymond and Sonya Persia, sisters; Kim Persia, Amber (Phillip) Hodges, Julie Persia, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton.
Funeral Mass will be at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N Adelaide St, Fenton, MI 48430, on Tuesday, January 2nd at 11am. Gathering will begin at 10am. Burial will follow at Milford Memorial Cemetery.

Sorry to hear of Ray´s passing. He´s been a good neighbor as long as we´ve lived in Fenton. Just learning of it so we were too late for visitation. May he rest in peace.
