Raymond Leroy Roberson

With heavy hearts the family of Raymond Roberson announce his peaceful passing on
November 21,2025.
Born on Oct 2, 1946 in Pensacola, Florida, he was the beloved son to Helen and Leroy
Roberson, both of who preceded him in death, along with his nephew, his namesake, Raymond
Shane Roberson.
Raymond was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Mary Roberson, his daughter Tonya Rozendale
(Peter), his cherished grandchildren Heather and Rebecca. He leaves behind his great
grandchildren Helena, Mathias, Lucas and Darci; all of whom brought him immense joy. He is
also survived by his sister Marie Jernigan, brother Clayton Roberson (Sherry), niece Jessica
Mathews (Wes) Cheyenne Roberson (Dana), Douglas Elliott (Dawn) and several Great-Nieces
and Great-Nephews.
Raymond dedicated 34 years of hard work and service to Monsanto/Solutia, retiring with pride
and respect from those who worked alongside him. Known for his steady presence, loyalty and
strength, he was someone his family could always rely on.
The family extends a heartfelt gratitude to Emerald Coast hospice for their two years of
dedication, compassion and exceptional service, especially Jill, Jahnae, Charnavia, Sarah and
Gail.
A special note from his wife Mary: "You have always been there to pick up the pieces, no matter
the issue at hand. Thank you for being my rock and compass."
The pallbearers will be Cheyenne Roberson, Douglas Elliott, Peter Rozendale, Wesley
Mathews, Weston Weaver, and Warren Roberson.
In lieu of flowers, Raymond would love for you to contribute to your favorite charity.
He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
