Raymond R. Ross Sr., a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully April 23, 2025. He was born in Miami, FL on August 30, 1956, to the late T.D. and Vivian Ross. Raymond was 68 years old.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Teri Ross; two sons, Jay Ross (Karen) and Wes Ross (Allison) and 5 grandchildren Ezra, Amelia, Saylor, Jacob, and Ethan. He also leaves behind his siblings, Shirley, Tommy, Caroline, and Donita as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Raymond worked 38 years at Graphic Packaging in Macon, where he made lasting friendships with his coworkers and took great pride in his work. He was a man of many interests, finding joy in golfing, fishing, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, playing softball, and coaching his sons.
At the age of 17, Raymond accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and was an active member of Cavalry Baptist Church. His faith was an important part of his life.
Raymond will be remembered as a good husband, a good father, and a good friend. His dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, his love of sports, and his unwavering faith will remain in the hearts of those that loved him.
