Raymond Sack Obituary

Raymond G. Sack, 71, of Brookfield, beloved husband of Elizabeth (Quinn) Sack, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, June 17, 2024. He was born in The Bronx, NY on September 13, 1952, son of the late Raymond F. and Margaret (Gilroy) Sack. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Brookfield.
Ray worked for many years as a self-employed distributor for Thomas' English Muffins. He belonged to many parish ministries including Men of St. Joseph. For the past 20 plus years he maintained the beauty and serenity of the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes.
In addition to his cherished wife of 52 years, Elizabeth, he will be missed by his two daughters, Victoria Kormanik and her husband, Ed, and Virginia Sack; and his grandchildren, Michael and Kathryn Kormanik. He is also survived by his brother, Kevin Sack and his wife, Barbara; his sisters, Kathryn Emhardt, and Patricia Pietzak and her husband, Eric; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Michael Sack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 22nd at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Cremation and interment will be at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Friday between the hours of 5:00 – 7:00pm.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to St. Joseph Church.
