Raymond was the beloved husband of the late Natalie Scarnecchia (nee: Pauciello). Loving father of Thomas Scarnecchia and his wife Pallas of Highland Lakes, NJ, Grace Scarnecchia of Fair Lawn, NJ and Sharon Hershbain of Bradenton, Florida. Dear grandfather of Eric Joseph and his wife Suzy Foreman, Jenna Scarnecchia, Karla Reyes and her husband Jose, and Thomas Scarnecchia. Dearest great-grandfather of Eli, Rafa, Zeke and Scarlett.
A funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 4-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Raymond's memory can be made to the Alzheimers Foundation of America (www.alzfdn.org), 866-232-8484.

When we heard about Ray´s passing I immediately thought of the song I´ll Waltz Across Heaven With You because we are sure that´s exactly what Ray and Natalie are doing. The memories will live on in us all. Sorry for losing your Dad. He will be missed.
