Ray is survived by his loving wife, Karen Schippits, two children, Bob Schippits and Kathy (Christian) Faulkner. His siblings: Ron, Flo (Carroll), Fran (John), Jan, Barb and his many nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his sisters: Judy, Christine, Geri and Marilyn and their parents, Florence and Frank.
Ray loved spending time with his family, especially going to Thunderbolts baseball games, watching NASCAR and spending a day at Starved Rock.
Ray is remembered by all who knew him as being selfless and willing to help whenever he could. There wasn't a project he couldn't take on.

Memorial visitation Friday, February 21, 2025 at Hickey Memorial Chapel, 4201 W 147th Street, Midlothian, Illinois from 3pm unitl time of Memorial service at 7pm.
