Raymond Sciarappa

Raymond Sciarappa, 70, of Asbury Park, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at his home. Ray was born in Neptune and had lived in Bradley Beach most of his life. He was a graduate of St Rose High School, and after high school he enlisted into the US Army where he served from 1972 until 1980. While in the service he was a recruiter for almost 5 years. Once he completed his military service Raymond began his 45-year career as a car salesman, working for various car dealerships throughout Monmouth County. Ray retired about 3 years ago and moved to Asbury Park. He was a sports fan who loved the NY Yankees, NY Giants and playing golf. Ray thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, and entertaining.
Ray was predeceased by his parents Fred and Louise Sciarappa, two brothers Fred and Anthony Sciarappa. He is survived by his loving children Jennifer Flynn and her husband Kevin of Brielle, NJ, and Steven Sciarappa and his wife Nicole Franchino of Bradley Beach, NJ and their mother Jeannette Sciarappa of Toms River, NJ. Ray was the cherished grandfather to Corbin and Declan. He is also survived a brother Joseph Sciarappa of Cocoa Beach, Florida and a sister Joann Sciarappa of Eatontown, NJ, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
