RAYMOND MARTIN SMALL
August 22, 1931 ˜ May 19, 2023
Raymond Martin Small, also known as Ray, passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 91 in Vancouver, WA. He was born on Aug. 22, 1931, in Sacramento, CA, to Raymond and Harriet Small.
Ray was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He married Shirley Kloster on Dec. 23, 1960, and they were married for 62 years. He was passionate about photography, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He was never more than a phone call away and was loved by all who knew him.
Ray served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1950 to 1954, where he was stationed in Austin, TX.
Ray is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, Terry; daughter, Julie McLaren (Wade); son, Brian (Lisa); and son, Todd (Lauri). He is also survived by his granddaughter, Jennifer Pratt (Darrin); and grandson, Brian Michael (Nikole); as well as great-grandchildren, Summer and Blake Pratt.
