Raymond J. Soucek

age 98 beloved husband of 72 years to the late Mary Ellen (nee Robare). Dear father of Michael (Jan), Timothy, Susan Kozlowski (Mike), Mark (Arlene), Nancy Surak (Matthew) and Ted (Georgine). Loving grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 11. Dear brother of the late Dorothy Blazanek. He served in the Army and wired early rockets. Raymond met his future wife while rollerskating. They also enjoyed square dancing, bowling together and participating in ballroom dancing competitions. He worked at GE for over 44 years and retired at 60. During retirement He enjoyed vacationing with his wife and friends and playing cards with their friends. He also enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes. Raymond was a brilliant electrician and could fix or build anything from plumbing to construction. Anyone who needed help could count on his assistance. Friends received from 2 - 5P.M. SUNDAY March 15, 2026 at the HOPKO FUNERAL HOME 6020 BROADVIEW RD (S OF SNOW RD) PARMA where services will be held Monday at 9:15a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church 7367 York Rd Parma at 10a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
