Raymond Milford Staubs, Sr., 92, of Shepherdstown, WV passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at his residence.
Born October 23, 1932 in Silver Grove, WV, he was the son of the late Lewis Henson Staubs and Leona Belle Staubs.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Elizabeth, at home, two daughters, Beverly Gail Jackson and Rhonda Elaine Fetty, four sons, John Thomas Staubs and wife, Robin, Raymond Milford Staubs, Jr., Christopher Ray Staubs and Ricky Lee Staubs, Sr. and partner, Kim Hall, three step children, Diana Bailey, Jeanie VanCamp and Kenneth Lee VanCamp, 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Ellen Sterling Cole, Gloria Seal, and Beulah Billman, six brothers, Gilbert, Paul, Rowland, Donald, Vernon and Harold Staubs, one daughter, Rosemary Lorraine Staubs, one son, Milford Lee Staubs, and four stepchildren, Sandra Faye Lightcap, Jennifer Kristine LaBelle, Mona Kay Spanos and Joseph Harlan VanCamp.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 6-8 pm.
Pallbearers will be John Thomas Staubs, II, Raymond Lee Staubs, Jay Julian Barrow, Jr., John Christopher Viands, Ricky Lee Staubs, Jr., and Matthew Ray Staubs.
