Born in Richland, Georgia, Randy was the son of Douglas Harvey Wilkes and the late Patricia Louise Langford Wilkes. Randy was preceded in death by his sister Kay Wilkes and his step-mother Shirley Wilkes. He was a devoted member of the Vienna Church of God and lived life to the fullest. Randy found great joy in his career as a truck driver for Wilkes Trucking Company. He also loved deer hunting, listening to 80's rock music, and watching old westerns, wrestling, and the Sci-Fi Channel. A passionate sports fan, he enjoyed cheering for the Atlanta Braves and following NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his daughter Falon Wilkes Skinner and her husband Tommy of Leesburg, Georgia, his father Douglas Wilkes of Vienna, Georgia his grandson Cash Skinner of Leesburg, Georgia, his step-sisters Lisa Cross and Lori Geiger, his nieces Dezirea Wilkes of Vienna and her fiancé Rachel Jones, and Erica Odom of Cordele, the mother of his daughter Sara Wilkes of Cordele, and several other nieces and nephews.
