Raymond Glenn Wingard of Marion Center, born February 12, 1957, in Kittanning PA to the late Ivan Glenn Wingard and Mary Edna (Wagner) Wingard, has passed away peacefully surrounded by his daughter and granddaughters on Friday August 15, 2025.

Raymond worked as a mechanic for many years at McGregor Motors in Indiana, before his health issues caused him to retire his tools.

He was an avid Steelers fan who never missed a game and always had his pen and paper ready to write down important plays and the scores for each game. He spent his mornings and evenings sipping coffee with his four-legged children and chatting with the amazing neighbors in his trailer court. If you could not reach him on the cellphone, you could find him found outside tinkering with the riding mower and splitting wood.

Raymond Wingard is survived by his only child, Heather Gorencic of Kittanning; granddaughters Jasmyne Adcox and Kirsten Frailey both of Kittanning, who he cherished with all his heart; stepchildren, Ronald (Melissa) Shirley of Rural Valley, Rebecca Shirley of Statesville NC and Krista (Richard) Houser of Kittanning and several step grandkids as well. Also, surviving are his siblings, William (Barb) Morgan of Rochester Mills, Mary (Jared) Clemmer of Punxsutawney, Freda Anthony of Florida; and a brother-in-law, Vernon Fulmer of Clymer; and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond is proceeded in death by his parents; grandparents; the mother of his daughter and love of his life Patricia Shirley; brothers, Russell and Thomas Wingard; sister Barb Fulmer; brother-in-law Robert Anthony; and three nephews, Jason Clemmer, Jared Clemmer and Bryan Morgan. He is also proceeded by his beloved four-legged children Petunia, Petunia 2.0, Spotty, Gucci, and Cowie.

As a special thank you from the daughter of Raymond, she would like to express the gratitude to his wonderful neighbors and friends, Rosie Harmon, Jenny Kline, and Jack Zimmerman who have helped Raymond a lot over the years.

A special thank you to the VNA Hospice of Butler team (Dakota, Eileen and Rhonda) who provided excellent care for Raymond to keep him comfortable at home.

Raymond's last request for his family and friends is to come with their favorite Steelers gear instead of getting all dressed up.

With Raymond's wishes funeral arrangements are as followed, a visitation will be held on Wednesday August 20,2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. 724 W. Main St., Rural Valley, PA. Raymond's final wishes were to be cremated after.
