Raymonde Odaris

Raymonde Odaris, of Seaford, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Christiana Hospital.
Raymonde Odaris was born on February 25, 1948, in Haiti. She was the daughter of the late Angele Bisrett and the late Lafontant Hector.
Prior to settling in the United States in 1985, Raymonde Odaris traveled to Panama, Dominican Republic, and Curacao as a wholesaler. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. In Haiti, she was the president of the Women group in her church. In the United States, she was a longtime member of the Church of God (L'Eglise de Dieu) of Seaford, DE and never missed their annual 40-day fast and prayer.
In 1974, Raymonde Odaris married the love of her life Alce Odaris. She will be remembered as a loving wife and devoted mother who took pleasure in spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and other family members. Raymonde or Mme Alce as most people often called her was a very giving person and would do anything for her siblings.
Raymonde Odaris was preceded in death by her brothers, Forvil Hector, Lucner Hector and Bernard Hector; sisters, Sereste Odaris and Marie Hector; and her mother and father, Angele Bisrett and Lafontant Hector.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alce Odaris of Seaford, Delaware; her children, Emmanuel Odaris (Tayana), Thomas Odaris (Andrelle), Georges Odaris (Constalie), Jean Elie Odaris (Judith), Fritz Odaris (Guerline), Edrins Jean (Claudine); Beatrice Odaris (Jessy), and Chantale Dol; grandchildren, Trinity Odaris, Tara Emmy Odaris, Taema Odaris, Marvins Dominique, Jennica Odaris, Jeffery Odaris, Kendy Odaris, Jaya Odaris, Anayel Marcdonis, Jamal Odaris, Jalil Odaris, Noldine Labbe, Yvelande Labbe, Lukny Kessy Geneus, and Luc Kevin Wenfield Dol; nephews and nieces, Ricardo Hector, Naomie Hector, Marie Flor Hector, Wilmonde Hector, Gertrude Hector, Henry L. Hector, Ivan J. Hector (Brittaney), Edwin S. Hector, Mirlande Frazier (Joel), Francisque Bruna, Yves-Antoine Bruna, Alex Bruna, Eugenie, Willande Bruna, Lhena Bruna, Francesse Bruna; Edeline Metelus, Monique Lormil, Denise Lormil, Nouceline Vilsaint, Yvener Vilsaint, Tialy Vilsaint, Rosly Vilsaint, and so many other nieces and nephews; sisters: Celina Hector-Bruna and Christiane Hector-Metelus; sisters-in-law, Manese Hector and Elfise Hector.
