RAYNE LAZORE

HOGANSBURG- Rayne Lazore, 66, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at his home.

Rayne was born on August 30, 1958, in Cornwall, ON, son of the late Antoine and Nancy (Jacobs) Lazore. He attended Salmon River Central School and married Joanne King in 1994. The marriage ended in divorce.

He was an Iron Worker with Local #820, Fredericktown, OH, working in New York City and Ottawa, Canada. He also worked various odd jobs helping others. He was a member of New Life Christian Church and enjoyed reading his Bible daily, playing pool, watching TV and collecting cars and car models. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Rayne is survived by his seven children, Steven Lazore of Tupper Lake; Joshua King of Cornwall Island; Stuart Lazore of Cornwall; Stacey Lazore of Akwesasne; Chris (Dawn) King of Cornwall; Elisha Lazore-King of Hogansburg; and Evelyn Lazore of Hogansburg; along with many grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings Phillip Terrance of St. Regis; Kathy (Hoogie) Oakes of Snye; Caroleen Lazore of St. Regis; and Roger (Georgina) Lazore of Cornwall; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents Antoine and Nancy, he was also predeceased by his brothers Dewey and Jessie Lazore, and his fiancé Lisa Smoke.

Donations may be made in Rayne's memory to the American Heart Association.
