Reba F. Hamilton

Reba Frances (Goss) Hamilton was born December 1, 1925, in Orange Township, Clark County, IL, to Hobart and Ruth Ina (Mann) Goss, she graduated from Robinson High School in 1945.
On October 14, 1945, she married Mr. L. Gene Hamilton, and they celebrated fifty-four years of marriage before L. Gene passed on to Heaven, on May 24, 1999. Reba and Gene spent several years of their marriage owning United States Auto Racing (USAC) midget race cars traveling throughout the United States racing. Reba was also a world traveler visiting many countries.
Reba worked 35 years in the Accounting Department at L. S. Heath & Sons, Inc. In addition to working at L. S. Heath & Sons, she was a bookkeeper for L. Gene Hamilton Fertilizer and Farm Service Company based in Annapolis, IL for nearly twenty years.
She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bryan-Newlin-Curtis American Legion Post, Annapolis, IL and a member of the Ladies of the ELKS, #1188 in Robinson, IL.
Surviving Mrs. Hamilton are a brother-in-law Don Allison, Robinson, IL, sister-in-law Charlotte (Jim) Brewer, Springfield, IL.
Nieces & Nephews: Gary & Linda Chapman; Janet Isabell; Vickie & Steve Staley; Rick & Peggy Hamilton; Sharon & Robert Stailey; Roger & Cheryl Hamilton; David & Mary Brewer; Mark & Janet Brewer; Tony & Michelle Hamilton as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Preceding Reba in death were her husband, L. Gene Hamilton; sisters Cecil Ruth (Vale) Morris, Ruby (Howard) Chapman, Shirley Allison; sister-in-law Mary Louise (Ralph) Nave and brother-in-law Ellis (Ruby) Hamilton.
Funeral services for Reba F. Hamilton will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday April 10, 2024, at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson, IL, with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 noon. The family suggests memorial donations to the Reba F. Hamilton Memorial Fund at Highland Church of Christ, 500 W. Highland Avenue, Robinson, IL or to the Crawford County Relay For Life with envelopes available at the funeral home.
