Publish in a newspaper

Rebecca was born in South Bend, IN in 1958, moving to Huntsville, AL in 1959. She and her family lived her childhood and adolescence in Whitesburg Estates, graduating from Grissom High School in 1977. She excelled in academics and art. She also lettered in volleyball and stayed a lifelong player.
In 1977 she enrolled at the Harris School of Advertising Art in Franklin, TN where she met her future husband Kent, marrying in 1980. They began their professional careers in Maryland, then moved to Nashville, TN in 1982. Becky worked for a variety of design firms and print shops as both a print designer and illustrator over the next 8 years. She and Kent started their own design firm NeoVision Design in 1990.
In 1999, she and Kent adopted their first daughter Mae Lee and soon after joined Cracker Barrel as Retail Packaging Specialist and Illustrator. In 2003 Becky & Kent adopted their second daughter Virginia Liu and moved to Mt Juliet. Becky excelled in any endeavor that excited her. As well as being a wonderful visual artist she loved sewing, cooking, flower gardening, hiking, camping, lake boating and the beach. She always stayed athletically engaged, running a full marathon at age 50 and a half marathon at age 60. But most of all she loved being a Mother.
On Feb 29th, 2024 she & Kent retired after the kids left the nest. In March, Rebecca learned she had a Glioblastoma (GBM) brain tumor. Her father had developed a GBM 27 years earlier. All during her difficult journey she prevailed with great humor and extraordinary grace, standing on her faith in God.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Kenton & Judy Crawford.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years David Kenton Allen; daughters, Mae Lee (John) Orr, Virginia (Jin) Liu (Graham) Bianchi; sister, Cheryl Berkley, and brothers Scott (Marie) and Bill (Angie) Crawford. She also leaves behind mother & father in-laws, Shirley & John Warner, Peggy Allen and many brothers & sisters in laws, nieces & nephews, their spouses and their children, on both the Crawford and Allen/Warner sides.
To almost all the family she was known as their "Aunt Bee".
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gray for Glioblastoma or St. Jude's Children's Research at the links below.
