James Howard Barclay- All friends and family called him Buddy. His passing caught us at a loss of words. He died suddenly after heart surgery with loved ones surrounding him. Buddy was a kind, humble man. He was a loving husband and father; his grandchildren were the apple of his eye.
Buddy was born March 1, 1952. In Jellico, TN to parents James Edward Barclay (Deceased) and Norma Juanita Barclay (Deceased). He graduated from Jellico High School and East Tennessee University. He worked most of his life in construction and met his wife Terry while working in West Virginia, they settled in Oak Ridge in 1989.
He was proud of his children James Justin Barclay (Maryville, TN) and Eric Ryan Barclay (Karns, TN)
He is survived by his brother Thomas Barclay and is was preceded in death by his brother William Butch Barclay.
His grandchildren were precious to him; James Mikayahu Barclay (Maryville, TN), Makayla Grace Barclay (Maryville, TN), Cameron Cole Barclay (Karns, TN), Maddox Reid Barclay (Karns, TN). He is survived by his loving daughter-in-law Mandy L Barclay (Karns, TN).
Buddy enjoyed sports and enjoyed time spent fishing on his boat. He enjoyed his Tuesday Men's group at church.
He will be missed by his past co-workers and long time friends from High School. His final resting place will be Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
Receiving of friends will take place Saturday November 8, from 5:00-6:00 with a funeral at 6:00 in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary.

Sorry to read of Buddy´s passing. Gale and I always enjoyed him when the boys played baseball together at the Boys Club. I always found him to be a good man.
