Loving Wife and Mother Rebecca Berniece Champlain was born on May 3rd, 1955 in Amarillo, TX to Roy and Evelyn Blankenship. She passed from this life in the home of her son Jeffery Champlain, of Drumright, OK on March 16th, 2024, at the age of 68 years.
Becky was known for her fiery spirit, her love for raising small dogs, her love of horses, and most importantly, her love of butterflies. Becky was artistic, crafty, and imaginative. She was an avid reader of Suspense and Detective novels, and she loved anything Star Trek or Start Gate, watching them on repeat. She was a store owner and a hard worker who took care of everyone around her.
Becky was full of love for her children, Michael Champlain, Jeffery Champlain, and Robert Bradley Champlain, as well as all of her grandchildren, Ashley DeLong, Bobby Champlain, Derrian Champlain, Caleb Champlain, Robert Champlain, Jacob Champlain, and Danielle Champlain.
Becky was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years Robert L. Champlain, her Mother Evelyn Blankenship, Father Roy Blankenship, brother Jay Blankenship, sister Paula Brensing, sister Deborah Tinnie, brother-in-law Everett Tinnie, brother-in-law David Pierce, and niece Crystal Tinnie.
She leaves behind her siblings: Loretta Pierce of Cushing, OK, Diane Blankenship of Cushing, OK, Joe and Shelly Blankenship of Guthrie, OK, Rhonda and Noel Bagwell of Cushing, OK, and Joe Brensing of Drumright, OK, along with many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be from 3PM - 7PM on Wednesday, March 20, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home's Chapel. Funeral services will be the following day at 11AM, on Thursday, March 21, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home's Chapel. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma. Roy Shoop will be officiating.
