Rebecca Canipe Dean

Rebecca Canipe Dean, 80, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, grace, and steadfast love. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Rebecca touched the lives of many with her kindness and gentle spirit.
She was retired from a long and dedicated career in cosmetology, a profession through which she shared not only her talent but also her compassion and ability to make others feel valued and cared for. Her clients and friends remembered her for her welcoming presence, her listening ear, and the genuine kindness she offered to everyone she met.
Rebecca is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Dean; her children, Michael, Carey, and Snook; her daughter-in-law, Juanita; her grandchildren, Kayla Hutchins, (Robert) and Avery Dean ; her great-grandchildren, August and Walker; her brother, Larry, and his wife, Peggy; and her nieces, Debbie and Susie. Each of them carries forward the love, strength, and gentleness she shared so freely.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at Cremation Society of the Carolinas, 2205 East Millbrook Road Raleigh, NC 27604.
