SHIRLEY- Rebecca R. Djordjevic, 68, passed away suddenly on January 13, 2022 at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer.
Rebecca was born in Germany on June 1, 1954, a daughter of Joseph and Marianne (Bursian) Green. She began her career working as a medical secretary at FMC Devens. After advancing her education, Rebecca began teaching and worked at the Shirley Middle School for several years. She enjoyed gardening and fixing things but above all her family was her world. She loved to spend time with her granddaughter, Yasmina drawing and making crafts.
Mrs. Djordjevic leaves behind her beloved husband, Zdravko Djordjevic and their children, Robert Djordjevic and his wife Reine, Stefan Djordjevic; her grandchildren, Charbel and Yasmina Djordjevic; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends including Norbert Garbe, Roland Garbe, Kurt Garbe and families out of New York, also Tom Bursian and Jeanine and Marcus and family out of Germany.
Family and friends will celebrate Rebecca's life with visiting hours on Friday, January 20th from 5-8pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 21st at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
