Rebecca L. Ice, 72, of East Liverpool, passed, on Monday, October 16, 2023, at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Heritage Valley.
Born, on March 23, 1951, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late, James E. and Bonnivere L. Owen Wright.
A 1969 graduate of East Liverpool High School, she also graduated from Ohio Valley Business College. Rebecca worked in various jobs, such as Longs Run Church, Hills Department Store, Ames, and most recently Giant Eagle in downtown East Liverpool.
Rebecca loved spending time with her family and always put everyone else's needs above her own. Those who knew her knew that she had a great love for butterflies and diet Sunkist pop.
Rebecca will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Stanley Ice, whom she married, on January 30, 1970. She will also be missed by her daughters, Jenny Sandreth (Chad) and Carrie Tice (Kevin); granddaughter, Katelyn Gorrell (Luke); brothers, Clarence "Dutch" Wright (Hilary) and Jamie Wright (Barb); nieces and nephews, Tanya Luster (Aaron), Mike Wright (Crystal), Brad Wright, Robert Ice, Vannessa Messenger (Mike); cousins, Carol Miller, Kim Young (Jim), Trent and Jaelyn Young and sister-in-law, Debbie Ice.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Mary Lou, and brother-in-law, Rickey Ice, brother-in-law, Jerry Ice, sister-in-law, Mary Ice; cousin, Serla Brandel, mother in-law, Katheline Ice; father-in-law, Leslie Ice; cousin, Jessie Bruzaud, Darla Roloff and Sue Miller; Aunt Elra Brandel and cousin, William Miller.
Pastor Carolyn Hardy will celebrate Rebecca's life, on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Arner Funeral Chapel, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may visit with her family, Thursday, at the funeral home from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8 PM.
The family would like to give special thanks for being with her and us through it all, Bobby, Tanya, Kim, Carol, Jimmy, Jae, and Trent.
