A graduate of Salem-Oak Harbor High School, Becky was baptized and confirmed at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, where her mother was organist and choir director for many years. Becky was also musically inclined, and became an accomplished bassoonist. After earning her Bachelors degree in Education, she taught for several years and was a librarian at Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. A lifelong advocate for and lover of animals of all kinds, Becky greatly enjoyed the peace and solitude of her Florida country home.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, John H. Miller. She is survived by several cousins and extended family.
Per her wishes, private graveside services will be held at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor where she will be interred with her parents and brother. Those planning on making a memorial contribution in Beckys name are asked to please consider the Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 E. Sand Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452 or the Organ Restoration Fund of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, 122 W. Ottawa St., Oak Harbor, OH 43449.
