Rebecca Ann Kaus, 67, of Elkland, MO, passed on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister to many. She always loved helping the next person she could. She attended Hillcrest High School where she then got married at 16. She then re-married after 10 years and became a mother in 1991 and by 1993 she was a mother of three. She worked in healthcare most of her life before she retired at the age of 60. She attended Dallas County Community Church for many years and loved Jesus Christ. Rebecca was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Mike Aven; her husband, Ronnie Kaus; her mother, Shirley Carder; her father, John Crossland; and her first son, Johnny Ray. She is survived by her Dad, Fred Carder; latest husband, Hal Foster; and her three children, Andrea (Justin) Brown, Amanda (Stephen) Kaderly, and Michael Aven; Tray and Julia Aven who she raised from babies; and her three sisters, Connie (Ron) Lemon, Barbra Carder, and Sharon (Jeff) Masterson. She is also survived by many cousins and niece's and nephews and her 13 grandchildren. She will be missed and is forever in our hearts. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Bro. Erving Friend officiating. Escorts will be Tray Aven, Michael Aven, Kevin Able, Jayden Greg, Kevin Jenkins, and Stephen Kaderly. Honorary escorts will be her Grandchildren. Interment will be in the Maple Lawn Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
