Rebecca Michele "Becca" Lenk, age 34, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 16, 2025. She was born on June 27, 1990, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of Judith Kay (Chesney) and Donald Andrew Lenk.
Becca was a 2008 graduate of Cloverleaf High School and Medina County Career Center, majoring in animal care. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Litchfield, Ohio. Becca was involved with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and it was there that she met her husband of the last seven years, Adam Howard Boedicker. She became a devoted mother figure to Adam's three children and three grandchildren.
Becca enjoyed cooking, baking, and visiting her two grandmothers. Becca also loved spending time and talking with her mom, Judy and mother-in-law, Linda. A week would not go by without her sharing a "Dad joke" or the "word of the day" with her father, Don. She always looked forward to doing fun things with her sisters Mary and Rachel, and was always available when they needed her. She loved crafting, fishing and camping. Becca loved not only her pets, but was always willing to help family and friends when needed with their pets.
Becca is preceded in death by her two grandfathers, John A. Chesney and Roy N. Lenk, and her mother-in-law, Linda M. Kirvel. Survivors include her parents of Medina, Ohio; her husband Adam of Lodi, Ohio and his children: Mackenzie Elizabeth Boedicker, Zackery Howard Boedicker, and Izabella (Ian) Bennett, and grandchildren: Emerson Fay-Jean, Waylon Aaron, and Brayden Leroy Bennett; her two sisters: Mary R. (Weiss Feckner) Lenk and Rachel L. (J.J. Wagner) Lenk; and her grandmothers: Anna "Dolly" Lenk and Patricia Chesney.
Becca also had many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who have reached out with love and supported her in so many ways. The love they showed was much appreciated and meant so much to her; it never went unrecognized.
Becca's memory will be honored on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio, 44256.
