Rebecca Deloach Mahaffey, 93, entered into rest on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Rebecca was born on August 14, 1930, in Lincolnton, Georgia to the late Alec and Eva Glidewell. Rebecca was a longtime employee of Bell Telephone, where she would retire.
In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Deloach and her second husband, Lieutenant Colonel Carvel Mahaffey, Jr. along with her siblings, Elinor Pence, Hope Glidewell, Henrietta McIntyre, John Glidewell, Lemuel Glidewell, and Eileen Kelley.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her brother, Joseph Glidewell, along with several nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where Rebecca will be laid to rest.
