Rebecca Ann Moore

1938 - 2021

Rebecca Ann Moore age 82 of Poyen passed away March 26, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center, Hot Spring County.  She was born July 1, 1938 in Detroit MI to M.G. and Bertha Walker Hicks.  She was a member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church, co-owner of Sandy's BBQ.  She loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids and cooking for everyone.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Tom Moore and her brother Jimmy Hicks. 
 
Survivors include her sons: Matt (Jane) Moore of Liberty TX, Tommy (Charlene) Moore of Poyen, daughter: Cindy (Stacy) Shephard of Poyen, grandchildren: Lauren (Kevin) Curtis, Hollye Townley, Justin (Kate) Moore, Kevin Moore, Brock (Diane) Townley, Tera (Jason) Stubblefield, Tasha (Cullun) Robbins, Travis (Lauren) Graff, Zach Batchelor and Heath Shanna) Batchelor, greatgrandchildren: Kaden and Audrey Townley, Kodee, Bo, and Trip Batchelor, Ashley Archer, Blake and Addison Robbins, Bo, Bella, and Bobby Stubblefield; Penny Curtis, Ella, Kennedy, Klein and South Moore and siblings: Judy (Ralph) Nichols, Debra (Chuck) Gioco and Eddie (Georgia) Hicks.
 
Service will be Monday, March 29th 10:00am at Regency Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to service with Bro. Bobby Goodknight officiating.  Pallbearers will be Tim Moore, Eric Moore, Burt Hicks, Jake Hicks, Tyler Hicks and Eric Gioco.  Burial will be in Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery.
