Rebecca Patterson, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 24, 2025.
Rebecca's life was defined by the love she had for her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends with her whole heart. Her greatest joy came from simply being surrounded by the people she loved and her dogs. She was a woman of boundless love and quiet strength; known for the deep care she gave to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Rebecca was preceded in her death by her parents, Henry and Reba Jones; beloved son, Richard Patterson; grandson, Michael Patterson; brother, Doug Jones; and her treasured dogs, Dixie and Tommy, who brought her comfort and companionship through many years.
She is survived by her loving children, Robert Patterson and Miranda (Chris) Staples; many grandchildren, Kaylee Gilbert, Lindsay Patterson, Austin McCurdy, and Bryce Patterson; sisters, Susan and Cynthia; as well as numerous close family members and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Terrace and Century Center for the care given to Rebecca. A very special thank you to her lifelong friend, Teresa and Abby, Heather, Molly, Melissa and Terry with Vitas for their love and support.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter, in honor of Rebecca's love for animals.
