Our sweet Mother Rebecca Recknor, age 87, of Nacogdoches went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 4, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Her favorite things to do were yard sales and flea markets, but most of all she loved watching Jimmy Swaggart, of whom she was a media member.
She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence Gean and Mary Gean; husband, Russell Recknor; and son, David Frank.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon King Rex & husband, Charles Rex; Karen Martin & husband, David Carroll; son, Mark Frank; sisters, Eunice Sunett and Terry Woodard of Marshall, N.C.; nephew, Johnny Westling; nieces, Mary Jo Norks and Shelby Black; grandchildren, Gerry Patterson, Chris Patterson, Jamie Martin, and Shannon Franks; and special friends Anna Hamilton and Sonya Carpentar.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 11th, 2023, at Woden United Pentecostal Church in Woden, Texas. Pastor Barry Rankins and Pastor Rodney Lampin will be officiating.
