Rebecca Lynn Stillwell

A private family memorial service for Rebecca Lynn Stillwell, 61, of Alto and formerly of New Caney, Texas will be held later. Rebecca passed away November 30, 2025 at her home in Alto, Texas. She was born February 24, 1964 in Corbin, Kentucky to Steelie Scalf Sr. and Sallie Brown Scalf. Rebecca had lived in Alto for just a few weeks and had lived in New Caney for many years. She was Baptist and was a published author. She was a compassionate loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved being with her family and doing her best to solve every problem. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Nichole, sister Maxine and brother Steelie Scalf Jr. She is survived by husband Charles Lee Stillwell, sons Eric Lee Stillwell and Arron Lee Steelwell, daughter Rebecca Destini Stillwell, sisters Susie Messer and Irene Robertson and grandchildren Katie, Alex, Promise, Everleigh, Jenna and Joseph.
