Rebecca Nell Munn "Becky" Turchi, age 62, of the Hardin Community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at her home.
Born August 5, 1962 at Pine Bluff, she was the daughter of Mrs. Iva Nell Munn Strahan and the late Sammy Jay Munn. She was a lifelong resident of the Pine Bluff area and graduated from Dollarway High School in 1980.
For 32 years, Becky worked as a secretary in the research department at Simmons Bank. In 2020, she began a second career as secretary to the senior director of security at Saracen Casino. She made friends at her jobs and enjoyed spending time with them outside of work.
Becky was a Christian and enjoyed shopping, roller skating, going to the casino in Hot Springs, and her collection of redbirds. She also obtained a brown belt in Judo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Jay Munn and a brother, Willie Roscoe Elliott.
Becky loved her family dearly. She is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Greg Turchi who showed her great respect, support, and undying love; her mother, Iva Nell Strahan; her beloved children, Justin Munn (Jessica) Jennifer Hope Dillard (Dennis); her step-children, Jonathan Turchi and Monica Ross (Allen); her brothers, Bobby Joe Elliott (Janie), Jack Ervin Elliott (Theresa), Sammy Ray Munn, and Billy Ray Munn; her loving grandchildren, who she enjoyed spending time with, Allen Munn, Marissa Hartless, Dominik Munn, Gabriel Johnson, Mason McBroom, Syla Munn, Skarlett Munn, Griffin Munn, Cannon Ross, and Jace Ross. Also surviving are many uncles, aunts, cousins, and the father of her children, Tom Lawson.
Visitation will be Friday, April 25, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel. A celebration of Becky's life will follow at 7:00 p.m.
