With deep sorrow and faith in the goodness of God, we announce the passing of Rebekah Joy (Vitollo) Bray, our beloved wife, daughter, sister, and mother on February 28, 2025, at 12:40 AM at the age of 41. Rebekah was known for her gentleness, enthusiasm, and endless positivity despite her suffering. All who knew her were delighted in her smile that made her big brown (chocolate tootsie roll) eyes sparkle. She was fun-loving and free-spirited. She could often be seen in full fan gear in support of the RCS sports teams and living out her dream of being the best mother she could be. During high school, she was a catcher for the Coxsackie town softball league. She helped manage the men's basketball team while attending Columbia-Greene Community College. She served as a Department Manager at Walmart, a Store Manager at Dollar Tree, and most recently an Endoscopy Tech at Albany Medical Center. She also started her own business, "Country Girl Toolbox," doing basic home repairs and maintenance and partnering with local Real Estate to prepare properties for sale. Rebekah was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in March 2024. Prior to her most recent hospitalization, she was able to spend 8 months at home, church, and sports games with her children, which she loved to do. For 3 ½ months, she fought bravely through surgery, infection, and chemotherapy before finding her ultimate healing in the arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Rebekah leaves behind her husband George Bray, Jr.; children: Isaac and Louis Curschmann, Samantha, David, Mackenzie, George III, James, and Kaylee Bray; mother, Debbie Fonseca; father, F. Joseph (Linda) Vitollo; siblings, Rachael (Dennis) Gardner, David (Jaime) Vitollo, Tim (Tara) Vitollo, Johannah (Ryan) Lepage; godson Cosmo Aleksander Tenney; as well as many uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her brother, Josiah Vitollo.
A service to celebrate Rebekah's life will take place at Gospel Community Church, 121 Mansion St. Coxsackie, NY 12051 on March 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Floral arrangements may be sent to that address.

I truly loved knowing Rebekah and working with her at dollar tree. She was always happy and humming. I will remember her training me to be an assistant manager and telling me she didn't have the time or the crayons to make me understand. She was so funny. I am so sorry for the family for your loss. She will be missed by all her knew her. Deb Hammond
