Reece Bennett Stricklin
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 12, 1953 the son of the late Simon and Linnie Wilkerson Stricklin.
On December 30, 1976 he was united in marriage to Debra Yvette White, who survives.
Reece retired after 50 years working as a diesel mechanic. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. In his spare time you could always find him working in his shop on his Volkswagen and building dune buggies.
Reece also loved working outside in his yard and drawing.
He departed this life on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 70 years, 5 months, and 8 days.
In addition to his wife of 46 years, Debra Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his son, Brian Bennett Stricklin and his wife April of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Hayden Bennett Stricklin, Lynnden LeeAnn Stricklin, Nathan Alexander Lewis, and Callie Elizabeth Lewis; and sister, Martha Stanford of Sardis, Tennessee.
Reece was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Linnie Stricklin; sister, Margaret Stanfill; and brothers, Odell, Floyd and Jay C. Stricklin.
