Kathy Ann Stricklin, 70, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on December 23, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, and her presence will be deeply missed. Kathy was born on February 4, 1955, in Roswell, New Mexico as the fifth of seven children. The family moved to Arkansas when Kathy was nine. At age 16, Kathy went with her brother and his wife to Dumas, Texas. She graduated from Dumas High School. It was in west Texas that Kathy had her first two daughters. After moving to Fort Worth, Texas, she had her youngest daughter. Kathy started working young as a bank teller and then excelled in various banking roles for 35 years before retiring in June of 2025. Kathy's greatest passion was God's Word, studying it and teaching it to others, volunteering as a children's ministry volunteer most of her adult life. She never settled for a scripted lesson, but instead insisted on studying for and crafting each lesson for the kids in her classes. Her church life and community were most precious to her. In both her daily life and travels, she eagerly shared her faith with others and took every chance to talk about God and the Bible. Being a grandmother and great-grandmother was her other great passion. She loved spending time with her family and never missed an opportunity to encourage and support her grandkids.

Kathy is survived by her sister, Linda Moffit; three daughters, Deanna Herndon, Rebecca Aguilar and husband Armando, and Elizabeth Pinkerton and husband Scott; twelve grandchildren and two grandchildren-in-law; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manley and Kathryn Stricklin; her brothers, Dwight Stricklin, Ralph Stricklin, Elmer Stricklin, and Junior Stricklin; and her sister Agnes Stricklin.

Kathy is now joyfully in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Hartman Cemetery.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Hartman Cemetery with Brother Ben Larimore officiating.
